I was looking forward to downhill much of the way down from Drake, and I wasn't disappointed.
Soon I was out of the mountains, and on the plains.
The contrast here is dramatic: only a few miles separate the mountains from flat plains.
I ate a large breakfast at a Village Inn as soon as I got to a town, which fueled me for the rest of the way. |
