Day 128: October 7: Anacortes to San Juan Island

I managed to kill the better part of the day in Anacortes somehow, and caught the 5:00 ferry to San Juan Island, which arrived about at dark. We passed other islands, many uninhabited.

I then had dinner and a couple of beers at the brewpub, and rode a few miles in the rain to get to "Pedal Inn", which is a bicycle-only campground run by a guy who has some extra land. On the way, someone stopped and gave me a lift for the last couple of miles. Since it was dark, I didn't know where to go, but found a place for my tent, which I put up in the rain without getting it too wet inside.
